I've made both the rice flour and mushed rice crust and I like them both. Of course they're not going to taste like the ones you buy because there is no salt or fat, but with sauce and veggies on top I think it makes for a delicious pizza. I guess it's personal preference. I'm just trying to offer an alternative to the store bought stuff.
There are salt-free, oil-free wheat crust recipes out there too, but without salt or fat they will still taste different than store bought. Sorry you don't like them :(
What's up with the rice pizza crust.. does it taste any better when you have made it more like dough like you have.. cause a while back i used white rice i just boiled it and mashed it together to form a bottom, but in the end it tasted like crapp.. just a bunch of rice with some stuff on it..
now i always use organic whole wheat pizza crusts that i just buy in the store..they taste great, but ofcourse they contain yeast, oil and salt..
