Don Would you check the above vid. esp. from 30 min onward please? This guy shows the studies comparing D2 and D3 and per his graph and studies D2 is comparable in efficiency to D3. I know you wrote that per your clinical tests this is not the case. So then could you contact this Dr. Holick and see why in his clinical studies D2 is efficient and in yours this is not? That would really clear up the situation. It seems that the usual commercialized D2 is diluted to the point of not being efficient.

Don I read that sunflower seeds and dandelion roots contain vit. d, what do you think of it? I was thinking to harvest the dandelion roots, dry them and powder them for the winter in case I'd stay in a cold climate area by winter and then get my body tested again. What do you think of it?

Don, I've just read the article you linked here and find it very helpful. Thanks for your time. I just got my vit d test results from a UK lab and it says 74 nmol/L and per their standards it's adequate. Now you write that one should rather be in 125-200 nmol/L for the UK standards. So based on what you say I will try get even more sun hours then or more in the middle of the day and see if I feel any different. But I get nice comments on my skin at this point for sure. I will get my results from the us lab soon and will see how it goes.

I have got a light cold again (dripping nose) the second freaking time this year!!! (the first one was my fault falling of the 811rv wagon for two days during an event). Even on my previous diet I never got sick and a light cold once a year was all I got for in the past 15 years. I am really amassed being 811rv for almost a year doesn't give me immunity from somebody visiting and having a cold....

I have been taking http://www.iherb.com/Nature-s-Plus-Source-of-Life-Garden-Vitamin-D3... about every three days for three months now and used an other 1000IU supplements months before that. I don't think I am getting any Vitamin D from the sun. I usually take them in the morning after waking up with 500ml of water or before going to sleep.

I watched both these videos and posted links to them several times.

I think you'd have to make it yourself, he said the stuff available commercially is so diluted that it barely works.

The supplement I am taking is 5000 units a day. I hope that combined with the sun is enough

I think I will just try to go out in the sun a little at a time between 10 and 3 whenever i can :D

Another thing is he says you must go out in the sun between 10 and 3 to make vit. D while Dr. Doug says to go out before or after 10-3 to avoid the most harmful rays.
