How The Raw Food Diet Has Become A Money Making FAD

Please note that as a child I loved climbing up trees (see previous message). People would say that I was like a monkey. Now I am an adult and I still love climbing up trees, like to pick oranges. It is a fun way to get food and exercise.
This is touching on a much bigger subject. This guy at a gasoline station was begging for money to buy food. But you are not supposed to give them money since they may just buy drugs with it. So I turned him down and went to a store and bought some ripe bananas. Then I drove back to the gas station and offered him a bunch of ripe bananas. He turned them down. So I ate them.
The bigger subject is the terrible things that are done for love of money. The sex slave trade is based on money. Medical doctors do not make money promoting healthy foods but by promoting drugs and surgery. It is a bad thing to make money by abusing animals. But it is worse to make money by kidnapping little girls and selling them as sex slaves. So these guys you mentioned are a step below the sex slave trade business, being a pimp, selling crack cocaine or being a hit man (professional assassin).
I do not know Latin but there is a famous Latin saying: caveat emptor. It means let the buyer beware. If you were a musician, you could make a beautiful song about what is done for love of money. I am not a musician but a musician has done this, with the song One Tin Soldier. You can click on it and watch and listen to it (scenes from movie Billy Jack).
In the song the valley people hear that the mountain people have a treasure beneath a rock. So they go up on the mountain and kill all the mountain people. They lift up the rock and all that is there is a saying-- "Peace on Earth." It is much better to watch the song.
Actually in the U.S. there is a movement based on Daniel Quinn's books like Ishmael to create a lifestyle based on tribes and villages where there is no money. According to Quinn, over 10,000 years ago there was no money. Everyone lived in tribes or villages. The focus was on the survival of the tribe. They could climb up trees and pick lot of mangoes to eat.
Stealing was not conceived of since everyone in the village shared what they owned. There was a chief but there were no rich or poor people. They shared the food so no one starved and no one became obese. Also they had a lot of free time to play. These villages still exist today in the Amazon and in India and elsewhere. People are at different levels of learning and everyone will learn eventually and some of the learning may be extremely painful.
Nice Harley, pretty good!
maybe you wanna keep focusing more on the good things and outcomes you already achieved.
of course truth needs to be spoken but dont let it affect your inner peace and happiness!
your helping a whole bunch of people and theyre loving you and your work!

"what you focus on is how you feel"
"people get distracted by focusing on some negative BS"

@Carey keep watching, the important questions were made at the end...
Hi Durianrider, yesterday I interviewed Matt Monarch about this topic. You can check it out here: http://bit.ly/ZpAhSz And I would love to interview you too. It would be a great honor! We could chat about your point of view in this regard. Hope you accept my invitation! Looking forward to it. Luis
there is a sucker born every minute- and these devils feed on that.
Tricking people who are seeking an solution and answers, give me your money and i can cure you. Whaa. Just bought 200 dollars of organic African mango's- who needs supps?
<p>Nice rant, and unfortunately too true. Preying on vulnerable people and animals to make money is disgusting, end of.
I agree with all of this. Thanks DR!
I recently got excited when a new 'Raw Food Store' opened up near my house. Went in there, but only saw jars of potions and containers with mysterious powders in them. Not a fresh anything in sight. the guy that ran it was a David Wolfe devotee.
All of these people either need to look up 'RAW' in the dictionary or petition to have the definition of the word radically changed.
However, the part that bothers me isn't so much the bullshit supplements and potions and powders that they somehow morph into being acceptable as 'raw' but the absolute disregard for the term Vegan.
To me, this is an absolute outrage. I'm angry too! I'm disappointed! Bring on the vegan rage! I'm not into all that "oh, that's their path, everyone's different" or all that spineless fence-sitting that passes for spirituality in some circles.
The number one thing about this lifestyle for me is not about looking good, or even my own optimal health, it's ETHICS.
Thanks for this, and all your other videos like it. They're so needed.
Adrenal burnout I agree.
Thanks Dr for doing what you do.
