I've read that when stressed out your sense of smell may actually heighten and you can smell yourself more because of that, not because you actually smell any different. Also other theories is that bacteria and parasites thrive in stressed bodies and therefore you smell more when stressed.
Oh, Mark, I have a question for you.
Would you agree that even if you eat a clean diet, you can still get smelly body odor when (1) you are suddenly stressed or frightened, or when (2) your armpits are in unnatural conditions?
What I mean about unnatural conditions is that we would naturally be in the tropics, which is warm, and so we would not need a lot of clothing, and our armpits would have lots of air and sun exposure, keeping things fresh. But for us who are in the cold sometimes, we have to bundle up, often with fabrics that are not breathable like polyester. I have noticed that when the armpits are "smothered" in these fabrics, it tends to bring out a stink.
As for suddenly being stressed or frightened, I know that I when I have stage fright, I tend to get a fast beating heart and smelly armpits (and yes, I mean smelly, not sweaty).
Yeah I've used coconut oil before too. I'm just paranoid about not smelling. People tell me I don't but I'm a little crazy about it haha
Interesting video, thank you! Currently, I am using Coconut Oil (the kind in solid form) for deodorant. I rub it a bit until it melts. I find that it does help with the minimal odor I produce. I will have to try essential oil and see if I notice a difference.
