Hi there! well I've been a pretty terrible vegetarian for a few years now and recently have wanted to 'smarten up' and get healthy. I've been a constant 250lbs for a good 10 years or so now and i'm tired of carrying around so much weight! I can't remember how I stumbled across one of Freelee's youtube videos.. but i've been stalking this site for a few weeks and wasn't comfortable signing up because I haven't transitioned fully to HCRV yet. But I'm getting more and more excited about it and would love to take part in some discussions! I've been eating a 6 banana smoothie for breakfast and fruit for lunch with a vegetarian dinner for a few weeks now and happily seen some weightloss :) I can't wait to join this amazing community and make some great friends who can help me along!

I just like the idea of being in a non-judgemental place with encouragement and inspiration to keep going. I need help getting rid of my bad eating habits and finding economical ways to maintain an HCRV lifestyle. (i'm single so i have no one sharing the grocery bills with me!!)
i'm also hoping to make connections with some local people. it will be easier with a support network!

ok so for my birthday coming up (in September!!) I've decided to ask my family for a veggie spiralizer! I've been looking everywhere for one and finally found it. but it's $50 and i don't really have that lying around. i thought it'd be the perfect gift :)

then for christmas i'm going to ask my family to get together and get me a dehydrator!!! i've experienced the miracle of dehydrated fruit/veggie wraps and wow! can't wait to make my own!! but again it's $100-150 so i need to save…

A warm welcome to you!  Please take the time to read some great information here-  Let us know if you have any questions!    http://www.30bananasaday.com/profiles/blogs/30bad-banana-wagon-tour

To get started. Be sure to note food, calorie, water, sleep recommendations and log (can usewww.cronometer.com or similar)  your food/drink intake, at least for the first few months to get used to what you need to eat to stay on target calorie wise as well as macronutrient (carbs:fat:protein) wise. Even if someone is a long time, established, raw vegan, it is possible to discover some things using "hard-data"; spot trends, be able to make good adjustments, that might not be possible otherwise.
