hey 30 bad! so, as a kid at about 9 i got over weight (which i can see was related to toxic build up now) and till about 16 i was. at 16/17 i became aware of the concept of "health" which for me ment being skinny. so i cut out all fat! i was vegan, and ate "healthy'. since i was on drugs for ADD this was easy because my appetite was low. after i came of that first year of uni thats when the 7 yr mental physical battle really began. my mind was all messed up from the legal drugs (including the massive load of antibiotics my local dr loved to hand out as i was growing up) and my digestion was not working . this with the sudden impulse to eat after years of not wanting much but half an orange or a piece of toast for a meal was intense, and my body was not keeping up. i stayed slim but felt painfully bloated all the time, so i thought i was fat. i felt slugglish paranoid and bad. as years go on ive been to so many "specialist" for all the most significant symptoms. these included digestion, depression, cronic fatigue, cronic painful swollen rashes, weight gain and malabsorption etc. i experimented with long phases of being vegan and raw vegan which would lead to worse symptoms. after a very bad stint of rashes where i had to leave my job, i decided to go on a meat and green diet in 2009.no fats or fruit ("cause fruit makes candida eat you alive via rashes") after being fed up with laughable expert advise, i thought this was the best way to take things into my own hands, i was amazing for a while . i was feeling great, lost lingering weight, most symptoms gone..... but then! i started to binge on cocoa and fats and got ultra sick, adreanals shot to peices i felt just like a started to die, and lost all confidence in myself. after a year of being back on the meat and green diet to get iron, and all crazy test and expenisive desprit attempts to regain my self i found some great help with an ayuvedic dr, i started to learn how to balance my body more an go back toward vegetarianism. however that was sooooooooo pricey and even that eventually triggered another massive allergic reaction which cause me to leave another job! so i thought hey! were going back to basics lady! and through some beautiful sycronicity i found a whole society of gorgeous fruit eaters with helpful guidelines and similar stories and im not alone any more and i feel more accepting of being me, not limited or freaky, like i did before. lately i have realised i have had a severe auto immune disorder, maybe lupus, im awaiting results. this makes sense, as despite my massive intake of fruits and vege non drinking etc i still am so fragile. everytime i start to excerisize mildly again to rid some excess fat and grow back my muscles i seem to get really sick and tired within a week. ive read about some other auto immuners who are following LFRV and im excited to reach a good point. ive been going pretty well on it the last month or two. thankyou

Oh well you know us stay at home moms are known for watching soap operas but who needs those when we have 30BaD! :D  Plus I don't do facebook, 30BaD is my facebook! :)  Or maybe I need a 12 step program for my 30BaD Addiction! ;)  

I love, love, love it!!!  Being able to just get on here and help out, promote vegan health and the miracle of LFRV makes me so happy and 30BaD is the perfect platform to pay it forward!  Plus I learn so much here while being with like minded folks, this place is a real gem!

Thanks!!! Your story is really interesting, I have done the meat & greens diet for a while too.. you do feel ok to begin with but it slowly sucks the life out of you!
Been slipping a bit lately with the HCRV, and don't know if I'll ever be able to go 100%... but luckily there's so much yummy summer fruit around at the moment!!!!

Wow, sweet pea, thanks for sharing your story, I cannot imagine going through all of that for so many years.  This diet/lifestyle is incredible and healing and it stacks up both scientifically and experientially.  No doubt all the anti-biotics wreaked havoc on your digestive system and top that with whatever the other prescription drugs did and you have to be ever so gentle and patient with this diet/lifestyle as your body heals over time.  Be consistant and give it time and keep perfecting all the details there are to learn.

You can skip the greens for months without any problems and stick with the easier to digest fruit.  Many people with digestive issues have to do this.  Stick with mono meals, one fruit per meal.  After 1 Solid Year Of Eating Only Mono Meals...   Make absolutely certain your fruit is always ripe.  You must eat enough calories, 2500 minimum for womyn.  You will probably gain weight at first as your body heals and gets used to getting a bounty of nourishment.  This is a good thread on that:   How to accept possible fluid/glycogen/fat/blood/lymph weight gain a...  And Freelee's post: http://freeleetv.com/but-the-scales-say-im-fat.php

You must use chronometer or nutridiary or the like to track calories to make sure you are getting enough.  If you are getting sick or tired then you probably just need to increase your calorie intake, add another datorade to your regimen.
