After a fast, i switched to a raw vegan diet but not at 100% - I was still addicted with cooked food like grain ( rice, quinoa, millet...) - i guess i was hight in fact even i think i wasn't...

I guess i was too low in calories and for the next 3 years i was like a yoyo with period of craving, no food, craving, no food...

Now i fed up with this craving - i felt less and less addicted by rice or grains- and i would like to go to the next steps and experiment the LFRV for fews months - before to be able to do it longer...

I'm looking for support to be able to do it without have some strong craving - and also to find the best ways to socialize, spend some time with friends and family without feel frustrated or an Alien because you don't eat the same diet as others people do...

I want to go on Bananas & Date ( or Sultanas raisins ) Island for 20 days...and see how sunny and fun is this island...

Hi

before to switch to a vegan diet ( at least 80% raw ) even if it's not 100% raw i was eating what i think was normal in term of quantities.

when i started to switch and since 3 years i feel i'm doing wrong....my breakfast is usually raw and consist about a green smoothie + fruits or only fruits - my launch is usually the same - mean fruit or green/fruits smoothies or datorade with bananas - and the dinner is raw+cooked food

But i feel like a bulimic  because it's like…

Hi Phenix, I would be very happy to create an image for your website. - My email is jonathanpo33@yahoo.co.uk - If you could just send the images and details to that, Then I will let you know more. When do you need it by?

Depending on the work, I accept donations of what you can and want to pay. However for large scale traditional paintings I do have some set fees.

Hear from you soon!

Oh I doubt I know myself much better than you do. At any rate, the more I pay attention to 'myself', the less I know...

You sound like someone who might benefit of the "30BaD program": eat fruits until you have absolutely no cravings left, even if it takes 50 bananas or 40 mangoes. If you're active, single, more or less young and don't have a background of serious mental issues, you should have decent chances of making it work admirably.

Hi Mikael,

I can't always get organic bananas either, and in fact, one January, completed a sucessful banana island (lasting 3 weeks) under the coaching of Dr. Graham using only conventional bananas.  Not ideal, of course, but still gave my digestion a rest so my body could heal, got me off the salt, and cleaned up my palate, which are some of the main reasons for going on Banana Island.

One thing to keep in mind is that banana peels are very thick, so the pesticides hopefully aren't as harmful as they would be in the case of another fruit, like strawberries.  As for another/better source- Why not start a thread and ask the other members?  I don't know of one personally, but I'd be surprised if noone was able to point you in the right direction, or perhaps locate someone else who is in or familiar with Malta.

Also, if you do a search, I think you'll find at least a couple of past discussions on exactly this subject.

Good Luck!  And let me know if I can be of any further help. Sultana
