Raise your hand if you work in a restaurant and you prepare and serve cooked food while trying to be raw vegan?
I work in two places were I prepare and serve cooked food. They are close to home and the money is good. I do have some days that I just can't control my apatite. I do bring fruits and juice from Whole Foods and even then as soon as I run out of fruits I fall of the wagon.

These days it has been difficult from craving cooked vegan food. I've been busy. Sometimes, I end up staying out for longer than plan and feeling hungry like a wolf.
I wonder how other city, busy, raw vegans think, feel, do when these craving happen.
Far from home, no chance for a ripe fruit or a smoothie shop and you know you'll be out and about for a very long time, even after having a big lunch of what ever fruit.
Easy, just put them in a closed brown bag or newspaper and wrapped them up. Give it 24 hours and your good, you'll see the difference. This is of course, if you live in the city and supermarkets provide you with green bananas and hard avocados.
This routine is an old one that we Hispanics from the Caribbean use a lot to ripen our fruits. I learned this from my father when I was younger.
