I started down the vegan lifestyle when I was 13. I stopped eating cows or drinking milk because I made the connection that my favorite animal, was a living being. At 16 I became a vegetarian and was so until I was 18 when I decided to eat meat so it was easier with my carnivore husband(who is now a vegan with my persuasion). The last year I became vegan and noticed quickly, the more fresh ingredients I ate, the leaner I became. I have bounced all over the place, weight wise. I was a bulimic teenager due to other gymnasts bullying me for my weight. I also weighed 215 pounds after having my son, and for someone who is 5'3", that is a lot to handle. I lost a ton of weight restricting calories, but this soon caught up to me. I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia and hypothyroid, about a year and a half ago. To make matters worse, the pharmacy accidentally gave me triple the dose of my medication and my body has suffered more after this. I am wanting to regain my health, get lean, and come off my medications.
I am a 21 year old mom that lives in the very cold state of Wyoming. I am a psych major and have worked with personal trainers in the past and hope to eventually return to that. I love lifting weights and doing Pilates for fitness. When it gets warmer, I want to get better use of my bike I bought last year. I also have two rescue dogs, and a cat that I love dearly. I am really into fashion and love vintage and pinup styles. I have done some pinup modeling and I love how I can integrate the past into the present.

Though I am no stranger to veganism, I still am concerned about my protein eating raw till 4 or 80/10/10. I am also noticing my vitamin d is lower on chronometer while eating this way. Living in a very cold environment, I don't get a lot of sun. I am also very fair skinned and even going outside for 15 minutes can result in a sunburn. Should I supplement? Or is there foods I should incorporate?
