Have been raw vegan for about 10 months. I still struggled with emotional stability and energy since turning raw, that was until i discovered Freelee and DR on youtube. Immediatly i began increasing my fruit intake and my energy levels are incredible. I am now training for a fitness model competiton in September 2011. I receive alot of negative energy form my trainer, they think im crazy trying to do bodybuilding on a RAW vegan diet and that there is no way i can acheive without eating chicken breast, meats, eggs and whey protein . I have ordered my 811 book, so i can fully understand this way of living. I am a little confused because i keep getting told i am not going to be in optimal shape for bodybuilding if i keep eating all this fruit. SO id love to join for support. I am also interested in the Bananna Island program. :)

I need assistace with following LFRV lifestyle whilst competing for a fitness competion. I am surrounded by meat munching, whey protein , pill popping "bodybuilders" and id like some more support on my journey. I am also interested in gaining optimal mental clarity and energy. I do suffer bad PMS since turning raw 10 months ago so i would like support with the bananna Island visit in a way to improve my general well being.

First, if potatoes and quinoa are your main hurdles right now at this relatively early stage in your health journey , I think you're doing great. Far better to be carb satisfied even on such cooked items, than get so hungry you fall off the "deep end" :)

I get them in 15# boxes x2, for a 30# shipping total, at just $3.00 per lb. Even with the added $10/15.00 shipping, you're still around only $3.50 lb. Last order the Khadrawi's were gooey soft, while some of the others (Honey, Halawi) were firmer and perfect for DatorAde. If blending, you can always toss in a few nans for even more carbs and a thicker consistency.
Another "recipe" fave of mine is what I call fruit stew--typically nans and/or plantains with grapes or berries. If the fruits are somewhat frozen, tahdah! you've got ice cream superior to anything in your local store's freezer section :)
