I come from years of restricting to bulimia. I tried all kinds of fad diets and pills to lose weight. However, with my eating disorder and diets I just kept gaining weight. My metabolism was destroyed and my body was way out of balance. I felt like I was twice my age with no energy and depression. I became a vegan April 1 2013 after watching Forks Over Knives. I later started trying to go raw. The "experts" I was listening to recommended I keep my fruit intake under 15% per day. However, after two weeks all I wanted to eat was fruit! I googled "people who just eat fruit" to see if it was possible to live off just fruit. (I was looking for any excuse to give in to my fruity urge lol) I found The Fruitarian, Freelee, and Durianrider on YouTube! I was so excited to see I could eat massive quantities of fruit and lose weight! I am a month into my 80/10/10 journey (just read the book this weekend) and I feel better than I have in years!

I am confused about calories! Your videos suggest unlimited (2500-3500ish). However in 80/10/10, Doug seemsto suggest 2000 orless for my current activity level. PLEASE ADVISE! I know it is crucial I get this right. Also, I'm a month into my high carb vegan (mostly raw) journey and I seems to have lost my appetite but I wake up during the night hungary. My sleep is horrible now. I eat between 2200 to 2800 calories per day but in 5-6 meals because it is hard to get a lot of food down at once. Anyway, thanks for putting this site up. I really need it!
