I'm a free-spirited yoga instructor who just graduated my training. I've grown up my entire life as a vegetarian and currently work in a vegetarian cafe. I've recently decided to become vegan and am struggling because all of my meat-eating friends feel that I'm going "off the deep-end" of my vegetarian ways. After reading about LFRV I feel like a transfer over to raw veganism and joining a community that can provide me more support might be exactly what I need in my life right now. I'm really interested in anything that can put me further along my physical, emotional, and spiritual paths in life and I love all that this lifestyle (and the people on it) seem like they have to offer.

I really want to be HCRV and just need some guidance

Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan and vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
Right now I'm just looking for a community- some people to field my questions and more or less to encourage me. I'm extremely self motivated and don't *need* anyone to tell me how to do things, but such a large change in my life it's nice to know that there are others that have done this before and succeeded and that they are feeling better than ever!

Other than that... Just looking to meet like-minded individuals and successfully shift from vegetarian to raw vegan and eventually to lcrv :]
30bad is a fruit-focused vegan internet community which promotes a high carb fruit based vegan lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to this. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:
I will comply because I like totally agree with all this

Crossing the Divide?

Breakfast: delicious smoothie of bananas and cinnamon

post-breakfast-snack (just because I was craving one): 1 grapefruit

lunch: 1/2 banana smoothie + zucchinetti/raw marinara

dinner: banana smoothie I think probably...

I'm eating mostly bananas for my calorie intake and today I was feeling a little lethargic I think partially because I've been feeling a little emotional. I watched the documentary Earthlings today and if any of you 30BaD'ers have not seen…

I love the energy.

Bfast: smoothie (500)

Lunch: spiralized zucchini +marinara salad (800)

Dinner: banana+pear+oj smoothie (500)

so I probably need more calories. But I had so much energy. It was awesome. I just... Went for a run. No problem. All happy in the sunshine. It's no wonder everyone who finally sticks to this lifestyle is in such a good mood all the time. So much fruit- all those carbs... It makes you feel like a superhero with so much productive energy. I…

So... After a couple weeks...

I've decided that the whole transitioning thing doesn't work very well. When I do eat any fat or extra salt and anything cooked- even low fat- my body seems to inflate like a blimp. I'm a little depressed about it because I want so badly to not fail at this and it seems that my disordered eating habits (binging/purging then heavily restricting) are amplified by this life style.

So I've decided that the most important lesson is that : I will not give up. I'm committing to a…

la belle! here's my opinion on things; I did the transition thing for a couple of weeks, while trying to keep up the restricting (bad habbits die hard) and I always ended up eating cooked or fatty foods in the afternoon or eve, SO for me transitioning was not the way to go! however, once I made up my mind about doing this 100percent, I've had nothing but great success, and I feel so proud when I reach the 2500kcal mark every evening! on top of that i've got: no guilt, no emotional set backs,  no negative feelings what so ever ! I highly recommend taking the plunge :)
