Been an ethical vegan since around the age of 15 (=11 years now) and never really a fan of eating "healthy" until a friend introduced me to green smoothies a couple years ago. After that, I went smoothie crazy and started to get into raw foods and did a lot of research about health. My first run on 100% raw was largely based on veggies, however. Constantly hungry and dreaming of sweet foods, one evening after wolfing down an entire batch of raw nut-based cookies, I googled "binged on nuts" and fate would have it that I landed on this gem of a site. Being the foodie that I am, I said that I could never imagine myself subsisting on only or mostly fruit. Even as a vegan, I hardly ever ate fruit except for the odd banana (no WONDER I craved sweets after EVERY meal) or apple. But here I am after two and a half years of carbing the EFF up and I'm not looking back!
(Before going LFRV I struggled with severe IBS, caffeine addiction, low energy, headaches and excess weight. Now, I have ZERO of any of these! My athletic performance has also gone through the roof!)

To get started. Be sure to note food, calorie, water, sleep recommendations and log (can use www.cronometer.com or similar) your food/drink intake, at least for the first few months to get used to what you need to eat to stay on target calorie wise as well as macronutrient (carbs:fat:protein) wise. Even if someone is a long time, established, raw vegan, it is possible to discover some things using "hard-data"; spot trends, be able to make good adjustments, that might not be possible otherwise.
