I love banana island. I was at the doctor today and according to his scale I've dropped 8 pounds in 2 weeks on Banana Island.
I guess I eat about 90 percent fruit, mostly blended into smoothies but sometimes I get a hankering for a whole pineapple or half a watermelon. I eat a few raw almonds, some chia seeds, the occasional head of romaine lettuce, some kale or some carrots....

I just wanted to report that things are going well. I like my bananas and feel very peaceful with my eating.
I'm doing more like 10 or 12 bananas a day -- not 30 like some of you. But that seems to be enough for me with my current level of physical activity. I'm no tri-athlete. I'm a 48-year-old woman battling Multiple Sclerosis.

The allergies or cold I have been suffering from have given me a tickle in my throat. Drinking cold beverages makes it worse. So I haven't done many smoothies although I have been 100 percent raw and vegan since Saturday and it feels good and peaceful. I've been eating lots of bananas.
