I did a water fast last February in France alternated with semi-fasts, it was great but harsh weather and living conditions made me eat too much afterwards bread and cooked food, very acidifying i think and i started suffering from a cold continuously. I am getting better with the food very slowly. I have just ordered some chia seeds and wheatgrass and am now suddenly (!!!a bit slow on the mark!) realizing that I also stopped taking my vitamin D capsules and it could be the reason for my cold(I am going to buy the spray). I don't eat in the morning (like a good hygienist) then i have lettuce & apple or pear smoothie then bananas then i crunch all sorts of things then in the evening i have a savoury smoothie with carrots & salad with more bananas. I was doing really well before my fast and wonder whether i should have done it. I was beginning not to eat so much. Now i am back not being happy unless my stomach is nearly bursting. It is also psychological to do with relationship with mother no doubt. I am working at it but it is a bit hard going.
