There were times in my life when I really loved eating nothing but fruits and vegetables, I would love to enjoy the fresh fruits in season and I felt great.
Starting last year I stopped eating meat, dairy, eggs, but I kept eating both raw and cooked vegan foods (my favs were mash potatoes, polenta, homemade little rolls). My favs were also fresh fruits and huge salads of fresh vegetables.
This year I decided I wanted to be and feel more healthy, I started reading about raw vegan lifestyle, then I reached your website. The more I read, the more I liked what I read and I realised that I have similar views and feelings about raw vegan.
In April this year I was diagnosed with congenital hip dysplasia and ostheoarthritis in my left hip and proposed for surgery, if possible right this year. I am 34 (52 kg and 1,63 m) and I don't feel ready for surgery nor I feel I need it right now (the pain is not so great, I can move and do things freely up until this moment - some of the orthopedists I seen told me that I must postpone surgery until the pain is too much for me to take). Still, I entered health vacation because of some huge pain in my left leg at that time in April - but once I got to rest, the pain was moderate.
I wanted to find a way to help my body by feeding him food to heal. I regard this way of life as the only one able to help me in my condition and to give me the opportunity to ease the pain and, if possible, to postpone the surgery until not needed anymore.
I had alternating periods of time with both LCRW and HCRW and I am now decided that HCRW best works for me.
With the help of God and with HCRW I am sure that I will do my best to improve my current state of health, especially since I feel I am so compatible with this lifestyle.
I'm also doing this because I respect life too much, I even feel and I am convinced that plants themselves are alive, while different seeds have life in them - I recently started growing sprouts, but I could not bring myself to eat them, so I let them live and now they are well grown and living in nice pots :-)
I also saw some documentaries regarding the life in plants so after that I regard things differently.

Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan and vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
After reading and re-reading Dr. Doug Grahams's book 80/10/10, I was even more decided that this is the right lifestyle for me, everything started to make sense so much more. Together with so many testimonials, with Freelee's and Durianrider's posts, videos and answers, and with the changes in my state of mind and body, I am completely willing to stay on HCRW and never look back.
I also saw the video from the Woodstock Fruit Festival and it really impressed me, it made me want to be there in such a paradise of fruits and vegetables, where everyone is in the same world of good health and awsome food.
I had my share of questions from the others, but I let them be, I do not try to convince anyone and I mind my own road. I also had my share of financial problems and even discussions regarding spending money on special fruit meals for me, but I got over them and I made myself understood (so far at least).
I would very much like to go on with HCRW and never fear the lack of fruits and veggies never again :-)
