Fresh relinquished breath upon the cleft leaves me bereft.

Theft, and yet unkept. With each suspect, we seize the deft.

Breastbone and bare chest pressed up against the mighty crest.

But with energy so rare, what way home could I have left?

Crazed and out of phase, I count the ways in which I'm gone.

Razed my crops and prayed for days, for grace and what's beyond.

Gazed into the interface, face flat upon my palm.

Grapes and gathered interchange, but not… Continue

Arduous Echos

Am I to stay or go? Which option should unfold?
When I am stifled, sick, and trifled, which way leads me home?
Can I remain a ghost? Should I not know my soul?
When the rifle aims and stifles, shame will know my notes.

And I will ever float... around this castle moat.
When enders came, I played their game, but fear is all I wrote.
Can I believe I'm sane? Can I believe you don't?
When the title strains it's tidal frame, it's time I go.

Storm Warning

The wind is picking up, all of the shingles lifting loose.

The tidal wave will crush, leaving a littered lot refused.

The birds and fish get caught within the psychic netting loops.

And after all the cost, I'm left alone. Sun's setting soon.

The shelter's torn and tossed. All of my fragiles tucked away.

My self locked in a box, down in the basement, cold and grey.

In hibernation, conotations tossed out in the fray.

I will scorn the frost and… Continue

Crazy Open-Ended August

Crazy open-ended August

leaves us on the verge of harvest.

Gazing forward, black and honest:

gaping holes we've yet to harness.

Phrases yet to carry home.

Places I have yet to roam.

Trapsing on, we wait for sawdust's

hazy dust to end in August.

Torture is the triple fold.

Forfeiture and ice's hold,

complicated by our goals.

Emaciated carbon souls.

Tips of fingers, barely noticed,

when seated in this stressful… Continue

Thank YOU for being HERE. (and an update on where I'm at)

Hi everybody!

Wanted to give a little update.

For the last week I have been being finicky about eating. I've been low cal, and just plain uninterested in fruit until it became a matter of absolute necessity to eat some.

Well, that's all done with.

Two days ago, I ate a big vegan burrito for lunch, and then I ate a plate of chinese rice and broccoli for dinner, which I didn't even enjoy in the slightest! I remember kind of vaccuuming it up with my… Continue

I need hard-line support. I need help getting over the hump. I have been trying so hard, for the last 6-12 months. I eat tons of fruit, but always binge out on cooked food in the evenings. I need all the help I can get to get over this hump.

I want it. I can feel it in my bones. I know it's what I need, and what my spirit craves.

I am ready to try again.

30BaD, you inspire me.

Thank you.

Hey James,
I was just searching through old forums for WOOFing suggestions in California. I came across your discussion about it and was wondering if it ever came to fruition?

Liked this one. A very comfortable, chillin'ly peaceful vibe, especially with the your lady (I presume) dancing with the doggie :)

No digi camera and thus no pics, except for the ones in my head. But they'd never do the Canyon justice. Even if it's just once, make the pilgrimage here someday, my man. Definately worth it!

Interesting supposition about your artistic clarity linked with lifestyle purity. Makes me wonder how much better our already fantastic artists could be if they lived healthier. Maybe Mick Jagger would be an opera star! ;)

I see, I see. Well, I'm sure a mutually ideal location will surface at some point.
As I recall, you're a musician. How's that flowing for you?

Personally been stayin' bizzy plotting how to avoid melting this summer :)
One thing of recent note, was a family trip to the Grand Canyon, my 1st ever. Words are inadequate--it's simply indeed GRAND and must be seen to be appreciated.

right on, J. Peace with our choices is definately key.
Is Mass you new long-term locale or a transition point?
Oh, and how are you enjoying your Tiny House I recall you had or were planning to obtain?

Hi James, thank you for your reply!
I was asking you because somebody thinks that the digestive system should rest when it is possible, so the juices are the best for this purpose, because there's no fiber in it. The more you are near to fast, the easier the body heals, and that's a natural law (fasting is the most powerful action if you want to speed up detox - have you ever heard about A. Ehret's "Rational Fasting"?) Actually I use a blender only to make salad dressings or gazpacho, which is really tasty. I'll try and make some smoothie sometimes, do you have some good recipe?

Thanks James for the kind words. Thankfully, my grandma recognizes every one of us- 100%. It's so beautiful when we come into her hospital room (while shes awake), walk up to her, and put your hand on her head and say hello she gets the biggest smile. We will ask her if she knows who we are and she will nod our head, and sometimes say yes. Then we say I love you to her and everyonce in a while when she has enough energy she will give it back to us- her best attempt to atleast. Its a bunch of mumbles, three syllabols that sound like it atleast :)

Sadly, I don't think my gram will be making it. She is 97 years old and had a drastic stroke. They took her off of everything- bloodthinners, feeding thing (brain fart right now, not the tube but the drip), and whatever else she was on. I belive the only reason why she is alive right now is because she is fighting to see her son who took off 6 years ago. She's a fighter. It's time for her to move on but she is not ready.

Thankfully these last few days Ive been able to come to terms with her passing away. Last night I spent it with her at the hospital. It was very sad, as she is now starting to feel lots of pain. But it is beautiful when she sees one of her 5 generation family members (Yes, she is a great great grandma!) and she gots all lifted!

I love that woman, she is a strong, couragous lady, full of soul, wisdom, and spunk. I will carry on her traditions and teach the world what she taught me.

Thanks for listening james!

There are so many places around Eugene, James. If you get to take a trip here it would be easy to see. Lots of farms too.
