Learning to deal with health issues and doing everything I can to get off the medication that is supposed to make me better but is only killing my liver and wreaking havoc on my poor kidneys.
I am doing my best to become healthy again by trying to get back on a 100% raw diet.
To pass the time I clean the house because it helps get my mind off of being unhealthy and it's nice to have a clean house. (even if it is my parents and not mine)
I also spend as much time with loved ones as I can but I try to limit my time with any un-supportive family.
What is your gender? PLEASE NOTE: To enhance the community experience, profile pics of yourself are *REQUIRED* to gain membership. Membership will be declined otherwise.
Please tell us about your dietary inclinations:
I definitely want to be 100% raw again, I'm 79% there :D <3
Are you Connected?
yes taken
My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
Marry Higgins Clark, I love her murder mysteries :)
Stephenie Meyer, Yes I am one of those people who enjoy the Twilight saga but alas I am not obsessed :D

I have many favourite movies... too many to list but I do LOVE musicals. I think that life should be more musical and that people should randomly break out in song and dance because they would be much happier if they do. (I do it all the time and my friends love it)
Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan and vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
I was 100% raw vegan but got sick and went to the hospital for 2 months on and off and now I am having a hard time getting back to the diet. I need more like minded people that can support my decision to be a raw vegan. It's hard to find support for this diet in the group of people I call my friends as they are all country and hunting, fishing, beer, wings and trucks is their religion/life.
30bad is a fruit-focused vegan internet community which promotes a high carb fruit based vegan lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to this. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:
Working on returning to happy wonderful health. Taking each day as it comes and living it to the fullest. Never let anyone bring you down and avoid unnecessary negativity, it won't help. Life is what you make of it so even if one is sick, and has almost died more than once that does not mean one can not be happy for they still have life and a chance to turn it around. <3

The Good, Bad, and Ugly

Posted on July 23, 2011 at 7:43am 0 Comments

Well the past month has definitely been rather interesting for me. I shall start with the bad: I spent a lot of time being upset over Mark and my break up. The good: I have been spending a lot of time with a childhood friend whom has really helped me tie up the loose ends and deal with the mental pain. The ugly: some of my friends feel abandoned because I’ve been spending a lot of time with Stephen...…

Staying's Worse Than Leaving...

So my last few days in SK were pretty good. Mom and I went swimming two more times in the mineral springs pool and it was lovely :) We also went into Saskatoon and walked around. It was nice and I love how in SK a big city is the equivalent of Cambridge here in ON. Out west the pace of life is much slower and less hectic than here. Speaking of hectic Thursday was quite a day for me...…

I really can’t wait to become a certified practitioner so that I can start practicing :) I want to changes peoples lives for the better. On Tuesday I went into Guelph and had a wonderful lunch with an old friend whom I haven’t seen in a long time. It was really nice to see Jessie and catch up with her! When I got home I went for a…

From Monday to Thursday I had some yoga, a chiropractor appointment, a baseball game, spent 5 hours cutting my and my Oma’s lawns, Zumba, ion-detox, and a Brant County Federation of Agriculture meeting. I was really happy on Tuesday night because we won our baseball game! It’s always nice winning for once :)…

Wow, bananas expensive? Hard to imagine, bummer. Is there any fruit cheap there? Dates combined with bananas would be good and easier to get the calories, I need 3200 myself, have you tried using nutridiary? It really helps. Can you find a wholesaler like United produce to buy cases from? You can look in the phone book or on-line.

I know that often Dr. D prescribes eating nothing but one fruit for 10 days to start out with, most commonly bananas. It gets you off of cravings and cleanses the taste buds while letting you feel your feelings and seeing what healthy eating and good digestion truly feels like. fruits are much easier to digest than greens, many people with digestion problems stick with fruit only for a few months. Dr. D says this is fine, that eventually you will crave greens. Glad you're on the path to health! :)

i'm doing great! how about you? have you been raw or lfrv long?

I've been vegan for 3.5 years. Raw for about 6 months i think... but i havent been doing it right, which is why I'm here... I was mostly lfrv for a few months a couple years ago and felt great, so I want to get back to that :) It's nice to know someone like-minded in the area!

Great spirit! It sounds like the schooling will be great, and Toronto can be a great city! Keep your head up, stay positive, and enjoy the raw restaurants. If you believe you'll help others then you will. I'm sure it'll be a great experience. What school is it?

Oh I believe it! What wonderful scenery. I'm itching to see some Mayan ruins! Their civilization is so similar to ours. I think you've got a good way of looking at the big picture too. Who knows, you may have another opportunity for travel in the near future. That's what's exciting about traveling. You never know what can pop up.

I'm taking a course for raw vegan chef certification starting this Friday! I've never been so excited. I had left college twice in Ontario, once in Lindsay, and the other time in Pembroke. Just wasn't what I wanted..but now i've found something that pulls me in! It sounds promising...The woman teaching the two week intensive course is amazing, and it's being held at a holistic retreat on the ocean only 20 minutes from my place :) And there's two raw vegan restaurants here in the City.

It's amazing how life can change direction with 811 eh?

Anyways, that's what's new and exciting for me! Let me know when you're accepted to school :) I'd love to hear about the Chinese medicine.

All the best,

When you get a chance, be sure to make it out here. Golden is a beautiful small town nestled in the mountains. When/if you make it out here, you'll notice a total change in attitude. Everyone here on the island is very laid back, happy and health minded.

Oh nice. I really wanted to get out too. I mean, you can always go back to visit if you're craving Ont. That sounds like a great program you'll be taking! Toronto can be a great city.

Thank you :) I love travelling...I don't spend money on anything else but food and volunteer work. Belize eh? Wow. That must have been spectacular! Remember, there are always opportunities awaiting!

Cheers :)
