I bought the 80-10-10 book a couple of years ago and during that time learned about the raw high fruit lifestyle and have been trying to maintain a program that might work for me. I tried Dr Furhman's program, Eat to Live, but it didn't give me the weight loss I was hoping for. I have been searching for ways to lose weight that would be sustainable for a lifetime. I had a baby in 04, with a c-section, and also suffered from very large fibroid tumors and needed a hysterectomy on 08. I was left with a terribly enlarged stomach which makes me look very mis-shapen and also makes me look pregnant. So I've been on a mission to try and get rid of this terribly embarrassing problem without plastic surgery. I was a gym member for many years and did not lose any weight and could not make that stomach go down and I worked out very very hard. I walked, rode my bike, but I was calorie resticting so nothing happend and I kept on gaining weight even when I tried so hard not to. Now that I've been raw on and off for the past two years, I've seen some great improvement. My stomach is shrinking slowly so its not as cumbersome as before and I am able to perform better athletically. I like to workout with my bike and also do P90x DVD's and other Beachbody programs. I am sure that someday I will achieve my goal of getting rid of my stomach without any plastic surgery. I am also a member of Chris Randall's blogs and other frutitarians. I am getting more knowledgable and confident in the program as time goes on. Not a quick fix, but slowly over time it will work. I found your website after watching some youtube videos that showed Freelee riding her bike and eating lots of fruit and that appealed to me because I am a biker and I hadn't eaten much fruit because I was on a low carb, meat and vegetable diet with salad as the only raw food allowed. At first I was horrified to see someone eat that much fruit, I had been taught to fear sugar in all forms and especially fructose. Even a trainer at the gym told me not to eat "too much fruit" because it would stop my weight loss. But I wasn't losing any weight anyway and I thought my thryroid was damaged anyway so why not give it a shot. Initially, I did gain 20 lbs, and cried my eyes out, but I remember Freelee saying this was normal and to keep going. Now I was also eating too many nuts and seeds at the time and this probably caused the weight gain, once I stopped the fat intake, my body was able to start shrinking and re-shaping itself again. I am unable to locate my profile headshot picture and will have to try and find it later. I have one on Facebook if I can try and copy and paste it here. I am not very computer savy and I am 47 years old and can do basic computer things like email.

Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan and vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
At this point I feel like I am a veteran and getting better at this lifestyle. I can encourage others. I watch youtube videos and I don't have many questions at this time.

To get started. Be sure to note food, calorie, water, sleep recommendations and log (can use www.cronometer.com or similar) your food/drink intake, at least for the first few months to get used to what you need to eat to stay on target calorie wise as well as macronutrient (carbs:fat:protein) wise. Even if someone is a long time, established, raw vegan, it is possible to discover some things using "hard-data"; spot trends, be able to make good adjustments, that might not be possible otherwise.
