Ok ... Well...
Like many people (women in particular) I have struggled with fluctuating weight gain/loss my entire life. I have never really quite hit my personal "ideal" body image/weight.
I was* a vegetarian (not vegan) for about 8 years... I am not so quite sure why I stopped- all I know is I never felt better... And eating meat again, of course= weight gain.
I have also since found myself with a career change, heavily involved in the beer industry. Strong love / hate relationship here... Because of course while the people and liquid are great. More beer = more weight gain.

Since the weight gain, I have noticed a strong change in both my physical & mental well-being.
I use to be happy, energetic, "fit", very confident, & very routine based-- now I am exactly the opposite of that. I find myself lazy, depressed, and with w much lowered self-esteem and confidence.
SIDENOTE: I just blew one of the easiest presentations amongst my peers/co-workers.... This really helped me to start evaluating my situation. Why was I so nervous? Why was my brain everywhere BUT ny presentation.
Where was my focus? Where did my confidence go?
As for my physical well being: Weight gain is my #1 issue w myself.. But with that came bad skin and acne. I would still have to say I am pretty lucky to have never dealt with this growing up, & still have pretty OK skin....But I have noticed a significant change on my face-- and now have constant breakouts on my back.
Excercise-- I used to run & I own a road bike. I've done many street races, up to half marathon distance... & went from couch to Century on my bike after only a couple of rides...
I keep finding myself not making time to do any of these things anymore. I think I am going on almost two years where I have fallen out of my training routine & habit. =weight gain.
I have never put myself out there on an online forum- not usually my thing... But I feel that while considering a big lifestyle change I could use some extra support.
I have hit a "max".
I need to make some changes in my life and regain some focus.
