Let's see...I guess I'll start by saying that I've been health conscious and active since I was 17! I was captain if my high school cross country team and ran an average of 8 miles a day back then.
During high school I became obsessed with calorie counting and restriction and eventually developed anorexia. My school eventually held an intervention which pushed me to seek recovery.
I've been "recovered" for at least 8 years now, but I still run and in still very unhappy with my body!
I've tried so many things to lose weight and get a body I could feel good in, but I keep failing. Im a vegan, for moral reasons, and have been for 4 years, but it is still easy to east unhealthily as a vegan!
I am often exhausted and and lack the energy I need for the day. I find my unhealthy relationship with food distracting and it effects my happiness.
I think this plan sounds legitimate and inspiring and if like nothing more than to see myself succeed with this!

Books: War and Peace, Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, The Great Gatsby...I could go on FOREVER!
Movies: Boondock Saints, Star Wars (original trilogy), Wolf of Wallstreet, Closer, The Assassination of Jesse James...I love Wes Anderson and the Coen Brothers and old black and white films! I love many more movies but I get overwhelmed when I have to think if them on the spot!

Hey, read your bio - sounds like you've been through the worst of the peer pressure model western young adults have to deal with, a lot of us on here have been too. But don't worry, with patience and a positive outlook (looking at the potential of your body, what it WILL look like and feel like) you'll ditch all those negativities in no time.
