I'm wondering if any of you could possibly know what this is. I've been lfrv for almost 3 months now, no exceptions. I came into lfrv from a cooked vegan diet. Yesterday, I was having a day of just…Continue

well Its complicated
My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
Too many books to name! Just a small fraction of the authors I love: Sylvia Engdahl, Leslie Marmon Silko, Sheri Tepper, Arundhati Roy, Louis Erdrich, Mary Daly, Starhawk, Madeline L'Engle, Sharon Shinn, Alice Walker, Geraldine Brooks
Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan and vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! Let us know what high fruit assistance do you need?
I'm really just looking for a supportive community since I don't know anyone around me who is vegan, let alone 100% raw. I did try raw vegan for a bit a few years ago ... but, I was doing it totally wrong, i.e. lots of gourmet raw meals that I found tedious to prepare. Having read 80/10/10 ... I'm really excited to start this next phase of my dietary lifestyle!

Still Splashing Away!

It's been a week, now, on my watermelon island. And, oh my gosh, do I feel FANTASTIC! I can't believe the energy rushing through me. I've never experienced energy this pure and this clean. It's truly invigorating.

I am so motivated to get things done. Right now, I'm helping my mom move from one home to another, and it's just no problem for me to pack, move boxes, drive the boxes to the new house, unpack, and repeat. It just feels so good to move, to do something that is both… Continue

I meant Monday to be my first day, but the house I'm in sold quite unexpectedly. And I had to rush around on Monday and Tuesday to look at various apartments. Alas, stupidly, I left all my watermelon at home. By the time I got home I was too hungry to do anything but scarf down banana after banana.

Today is a new day, though, and my watermelon awaits. I definitely prepared this time. Last night I blended an entire watermelon - it fit into 7 half gallon mason jars! They look so pretty… Continue

Watermelon Facts and Preparation

Tomorrow I begin my first day of watermelon island. I've been wondering why it is that my body craves watermelons so. I am almost one month into lfrv. Before this I was cooked low fat vegan. I did eat a lot of grains, admittedly not all of them were whole grains. My body really loves the easy digestion of fruits and greens. It could be that my body wants something that is easiest to digest after all those years of grains - hence the watermelon cravings.

Just for fun, and out of… Continue

Splashing in Water ... melon

Posted on April 18, 2010 at 12:39pm 4 Comments

I've been inspired by all these island getaways to try watermelon island. I've had intense cravings for watermelon for the past few days. It's all my body wants to eat lately. I decided to do a mono week of watermelon as a result. I have 20 huge watermelons waiting for me in the kitchen, to start. I plan on drinking one via blender in the morning, and then eating the other in the afternoon. These watermelon are HUGE, so it should be enough calories. But, just in case it isn't, I can drink… Continue

btw, regarding owning pets - i don't like the idea.
all our creatures are rescued and i think in such situations it's the best we can do.

still i don't think companionship needs to be intraspecies and certainly i think such exchanges can be mutually very good experiences.

one day when you have time, i'll give you the link to a group here where you can read about many of these companions who we share our existence with. i think you may enjoy some of the stories.

thx anna!
also we'd appreciate your presence in freelee's china study thread here:
i think it would be great to have you onboard!

i have some ideas regarding it i want to discuss with you - right after i hear back from someone else i sent feelers out to.

regarding veg pets - let's just see how things develop.
if you get a chance take a look through the vegan dogs thread - it's quite extensive - and see what you think about the natural=good thread too.

i'll restrain myself from trying to convince you of anything :D
though you may be interested in knowing that some of those who were adamantly opposed are doing otherwise now. ;)
