Hey! My name is Angela & I live in Montana. I love learning about nutrition & different ways of eating. I have been all over the map with diets : South Beach, Fat Flush, Atkins, lacto ovo vegetarian, vegan, systematically consuming everything in sight :-), Genesis Transformation, & low glycemic. I am interested in learning how people HCRV in colder/mountain areas.

Learning how to HCRV in an climate that doesn't grow a lot of its own fruit. Late summer we have cherries & apples.

Sounds like you're doing well, too! I hear ya on the nuts thing, I've been really wanting to add some to my diet but I know I would eat more than I should right now. I'm great during the day, but then when it comes to dinner, my salads have been very sad. Last night I made a huge salad and tossed it with a dressing I made of blended tomato, lemon and fresh basil. However, it was really frothy and tasted like spit. I ended up eating some pineapple instead. Tonight, I'm going to try putting a head of romaine in a smoothie and some chia seeds for fat to see if I can get my greens that way.... I'm also not weighing myself more than once a week so I don't get stuck on numbers.... one day at a time :-)
How did your first day go?? I started with some bananas and dates as well. I was stuck out of the house all day but managed to find places where I could get fruit for lunch and a salad for dinner. Day 2! I hope you're doing well!! I also just received the 80/10/10 book so hopefully it will give me some pointers. Hang in there sister!
