So I am going to be studying abroad in Brazil within the next 2 semesters. Is anyone here from Brazil? How do you stay 811LFRV when many of the national dishes are meat-based (or so I hear)? Is it…Continue
I have found that dateorade is great for getting in an easy 1000 cal meal in! However, will dates hinder my weight loss? I am overweight at 5'6 160lbs and my ideal weight would be about 125. I am…Continue
Hey guys, For my final Ethics paper I am arguing that animals are worthy of moral consideration, that they have purposes beyond human use, etc. My question is, do you know of any good resources…Continue
So I've been veering away from most animal products but eating a little milk and cheese in sandwiches (not good, I know). I'm officially challenging myself to a high-raw, whole foods vegan challenge on the road to eventually permanently transitioning to LFRV.

Today I was in classes all day and I'm making it a rest day. Have a little headache but I think it is just caffiene withdrawal again and it's getting better.
Today I ate:
2 plates of mixed melon
a fruit cup with pineapple and melon (not a good combo but it's what was available)
and a pure bar (which is supposedly all raw but I doubt it)
I have 2 more "transition" bars at home as well as a tub of raw sunflower seeds.…Continue
Today I went on the elliptical for 45 minutes. I tried to get some sunshine but after a while the wind became too cold for me to handle. I may take a walk later. I have a slight headache that I believe is from detox.
2.5 plates of mixed melon
around 15 dates
and I may have some cashews or another overt fat later
I'm done with the crap I've been eating lately. Transitioning slowly is NOT helping. So hold me accountable: starting tomorrow morning, I am feasting on only fruits, raw vegetables, small amounts of raw nuts and seeds, and herbal tea (for the rest of the winter...I need warmth). Wish me luck, and in a week I will post with progress! :)
