"I can digest it but I do think it can be difficult to digest for some people.  Blending it with bananas is a good idea to see if that helps. :)"

Jen Garrison replied to MADO's discussion WHY do BLUEBERRIES gel up your smoothies??
"Blueberries have a fair amount of pectin. Once blended it mixes all up with the sugars and bam, jam. I generally only have smoothies with blueberries in a container I can shake, that way as it separates and the gel forms on top, I just shake it…"

Some medical set backs in life have lead me to find my way to vegetarian, then vegan, and then back to a SAD diet. After a year of my doctors '"plan" not being on par with what I want, my nutritionist and I transitioned back to a plant based life, and I have been fully raw since March 1st 2014 and I am hoping this forum will be motivational to me.
