I stumbled on a Freelee/Durianrider on youtube. This led to watching more, and deciding to try out raw 'till 4 eating and let the results speak for themselves. Sometimes I have raw till noon days, but even this is HUGE process. I feel I have a much better grasp of how food combining works. I'm about a month in, and feeling good. Veganism makes ethical sense to me, however, I ended up relying way too much on peanut butter. Basically for a long time my diet revolved around cheese and snickers bars.
I hadn't eaten a date in years, and when I it into one I thought.....now THIS could take the place of a Snicker Bar.
I've probably watched over 300 - 30BAD videos in a couple of weeks. And I just bought Freelee's book to support the cause. I find her analysis of the mistakes she made when starting very useful.
I've been doing some research (via youtube) into the whole raw food community, and feel most drawn to 30BAD. No false flattery, but I find F and DR genuine to the core. They walk the walk ( and without selling supplements!)
I've travelled most of my life. I even have a sister, Victoria, because she was born in Australia. I lived there one year, 1970, I was seven. I now live in a small cottage surrounded by fruit trees (Pommegranate,Fig,Persimmon,Mulberry, plum) in Istanbul. I was born in California. I teach high school English to Turkish students. I also have connection to a Buddhist school in Nepal.
