Applying the fundamental of progressive resistance (once form and minimal strength is reached from bodyweight alone) to only TWO of those ab exercises, namely the crunch and the oblique lifts; will decrease your ab workout to less than two minutes per week, and also be efficient and strengthening not to mention conservaing energy.Keep in mind that the "definition" and delineation of the model are a result of stages of calorie manipulation not exercise per se.
