Awesome. Yeah. When I am dancing is one of the only place I don't think about anything else. The Zen of something is being fully present with whatever that thing is. Truly being there in it. Therefor, when I am dancing, I am Dance.

Love. Peace. Prosperity to you.

Not too much happening in Milwaukee.  Tomatoes are ripe and delicious!  Always great to see another fruit lover from Wisconsin.  Your studies sound pretty sweet - where you attending?

Thank you Guava, yes, you are right, family is very important. I guess it means different things for different people as well... Having chosen to live in a multi-cultural couple (2 persons from different continents) on my side means that at least one side of the family is always far, so you are forced to accept the distance somehow... Keep in touch then, at least you could come for a holiday ;) Now, just keep in mind that we don't have the final land yet, so we cannot take bookings at this stage :D

Hi Guava,

Yes, I hope that community is available/ open once I am ready : ) Currently working on my finances; to save up and also convert my job to web-based one too.

See you there!

Good to know, GuavaGirl, I wish you all the best in your search of such a community. I think you are blessed to be in the US as there are quite a few popping up in this country! If for some reason you changed your mind about crossing man-made boundaries, follow our project on http://bit.ly/terradosol ;)

the way im looking at it is that its like having an expensive hobby aquarium, but instead of aquatic life its plants. I should be setting it up soon ill send you some pics!

oh! by the way. if you can, try and buy your hydro kit off of craigs list or something like that. the equipment is really over priced for what it really is. I am sure yo have seen, most of them are made out of PVC and regular buckets.

I love the Guava kick pic!

I just bought a rather large hydroponics kit. all I need to get it running is the growing medium, nutrients, and lights. its essentially 6 buckets attached to a reservoir  the size of a laundry hamper. I havent gotten anything started yet, but I will definatley let you know! right now, my goal would be get as many calories as I can out of it. So I think I will experiment with melons, and some rich greens like kale and chard. It has been challenging to find out what plants can be used. I live by myself so I am willing to sacrifice the space where my dinner table goes. so thats about 7' x 4' of space.

check out this catalogue its great http://rareseeds.com/

as for outdoors, the most nutrient rich fruit i have seen is the paw paw. it grows on a tree so its not high maintenance and you get a permanent friend for your home.
