I'm sort of from OH- I live there when I was 2-8 years old, then I moved to Ann Arbor until age 14, then I was lucky enough to get to move to this beautiful state! My friend is graduating from University of Miami in Oxford. :)
Thanks for tha advice, idk if i told you or not, i had ordered another pair of the ghost 4s 1/2 size larger, and they feel just fine running in them so i think i will be thankful i listened to everyone on the thumbnails width tip. Also i have a race coming up on the 29th at 730 exiciting! :D just another 5k
Well about the shoe, my shoes are NOT tight, it's just everyone is telling me that they are too small, and that the end of the shoe should be a thumbnails width from the big toe. They are a bit tighter than they should be if I go by that.. What general rules do you apply when it comes to a proper fitting shoe?
Oh, my I am not ready for any big races myself, I am still new to running as well. I had my first 5k last week as well, and well I got 2nd in my age group.. :D so I'm going to keep it up... I saw you mentioned something about a marathon, so I just threw Stockholm out there. I'm bummin' right now though cuz I got a pair of Brooks Ghost 4, and well they run small, and since then they went out of stock on the next size up.. It's hard to find a shoe for my foot at an affordable price!
Yes, I'm a fruitarian, not a perfect one though :( I'm all raw, but at times when undercarbed, I can overeat overt fats, but I'm definitely improving. Overall I'm doing great, the journey has been amazing and I don't ever want to go back to my old lifestyle of slow self-destruction. Hope your journey's going well too! I'll try to answer your questions if you have any :)
Thanks for the tips! The water sprints seems like a good build up before the running season begins. The race is called "Lidingö Ultra Marathon 50K" and it takes place in Stockholm, 4 May. What about you, Any races comming up during the winter?
100 miles a week! Impressive. I´m gonna run my first Ultra (50k) in May. There is 6 months left to recover from my achilles tendon and build up a good mile age. I´m planning to spend a couple of hours in the gym weekly and not only run. In that way I can hopefully stay free from injuries and be able to run more. Do you have any good tips? Keep it up.
