Hey, I saw that you had your fillings removed last year. How did it go? Did you notice a change afterward? I'm starting to think I might have mercury poisoning... and I"m just curious about your experience. :D
Dear Jessie ♥
Thank you for your comment.
Sometimes I will spend a lot of money on organic fruit but this tends to balance out because most of the fruit I get is direct from friends and local growers. they grow on a small scale without chemicals but are not certified organic but their produce is cheaper, fresher and often better than certified organic fruit in stores and supermarkets.
Also I often forage fruit, so again this balances out spending a lot on certain fruits.
Most of my money goes on fruit, but I do not spend money on many things that others do, so I have plenty to buy my fruit. Which really is the most important thing on my shopping list.
I have lots of baby trees but most of them are yet to produce, so at the moment I am getting most of my fruit from fruit-growing friends, direct from the farm gate, or from farmer's markets. But there is a huge old Mango tree in the garden with thousands of Mangoes on it, so this year is looking good for home-grown Mangoes!
The best markets in the Brisbane/Sunny Coast area that I know of are:

West End Market- Davis Park, West End, Brisbane Saturday 6–2
Powerhouse Markets, Brisbane Powerhouse, New Farm, Brisbane, 2nd and 4th Saturday mornings.
Eumundi Markets, Eumundi, Weds until 1pm, Sat until 1.30pm
Northey St. Organic Market- Northey St. Brisbane, Sunday 6–10.30
hi Jessie...it is hormonal that is correct, that would be the root of the problem. For example, I have No cyst issues when I'm pregnant. Giving up dairy entirely would be EXTREMELY helpful in balancing hormones. She'll also notice a difference in acne if that's a problem, and PMS symptoms. I'm still researching gluten as a possible contributor, it could be so, but for different reasons...not hormonal, but perhaps just viewed as a toxin. ALSO, non-organic foods have a lot of psuedo-estrogens as well (the pesticides), so if she is a big raw food eater, she'll benefit from going as organic as possible. Hope that helps....they are not fun.
Dear Jessie ♥,
I have met Anne Clark at a market, but do not know her personally. Her books are in quite a few of the wholefood shops around here.
I get my Toothsoap direct from the website www.toothsoap.com
I have not found any suppliers in Oz.
If you are thinking of ordering, I have a code valid until the end of August for 40% off your order. If you want I will pm it to you.
The postage bumps the price up a it, but a jar lasts for ages. So overall, I find it good value. Plus they are always having special offers.
Do you live with a Siamese kitty? Love that photo ♥
Have a lovely day,

Dear Jessie ♥
thanks for your comment.
Your profile pic is a delight ♥
I used a dentist who was familiar with safe removal of amalgm. He used rubber dams and special suction equipment to help ensure that I did not ingest any of the amalgam fillings.
It was just before I started out on a fruit diet, at the time I was eating raw fruits and wholefood vegan cooked food. So I did not eat anything specifically to aid with the removal process.
Have a happy and fruitful day ♥

Oh I see... I have had 3 day's mango mono diet in March. I just ate as many mangoes as I wished. I think I ate about 13 mangoes a day on average and after the 3 days, I did not want to have anything to do with mangoes for a couple of weeks! Now I still eat a mango a day.
I am a relief teacher and I have been housesitting in the last 12 months in Sunshine, Gold Coast & brisbane and it really fits well with my job. What about you?
What do you put in green smoothies that you drink? Do you eat fruit and vegies as they are, too?
Hi Jessie. I am not totally on raw food yet. I have been eating miso soup (I microwave the whole thing for a couple of minutes, so it is technically cooked!) and recently I have been eating some cooked beans to improve my kidney enegy. However, to your question, I put a bit of salt on some fruit such as honeydew, rock & water melons to make sure that I get enough minerals & salt, which helps me a bit not to crave for cooked food so much. (Putting a bit of salt on some fruit is how I grew up with in Japan. They do that to increase the sweetness of the fruit, which may sound strange!)
How long have you been on raw?
