30 Bananas a Day!

Hi there... I know I haven't been exactly the finest example of a lfrv nonetheless I try and I fail and I try and I fail... but, this summer I'm planning on going on a wwoof in India, hopefuly near Kerala I'm planning on arriving in August... but I haven't contacted the farm yet cause first I need to have my passport done.

I just wanted to know your opinions on these types of activities and most important if we can eat all the fruit we care of... I guess it will depend on the farm of course... but still I wanted to know your feedback I'm planning on stayng there for about 9 months...

I'm leaving my job as a teacher wich isn't leading me anywhere here in Portugal, it's not actually teacher but trainer of english which is holding me back... for a vast number of reasons...

Please say something... whatever... advices of any kind are welcome :)

I know I know and I'm tired of excusing myself realy :)...

Anyway I'm going with a limited budget and that part of having to supplement it scares me a bit... I think I'll have to do the maths... the two way ticket is 600 euros... the rest I'll just have to see...

I'm not going simply for the purpose of transitioning definitely but also pursuing the 'woman of my life' :) ... tricky story :)... she's leaving in May and I would love to be there in August... the thing is the price of fruit over there since I'm a tourist I'll have to watch out not to overpay... doing the maths on 5 euros a day of fruit to supplement the diet times 270 days equals... 1350 euros just for food... plus airplane tickets... anything less than 2000 euros is a bit dangerous... hey it's the first time I ever leave europe so... I may sound ridicule :)

wwoofing in Hawaii really encouraged me to be raw, as you see the abundance of beautiful foods everywhere! Also connecting with the plants and ecosystem gives you affirmation that you are doing what's right and natural for your body.

One thing I experienced was not being able to get enough fruit on the farms, even if they grew an abundance, they just don't anticipate on their woofers needing so much. However, it is simple enough to supplement in buying from local growers/markets.

If you slow down, anywhere you are, and tune into your body it will tell you its needs. Be gentle with your self, it's not all or nothing, pass or fail, it's an evolution.

best of luck!
