I just wanted to post a little reminder of how important vitamin D and getting sunshine is-especially in the winter. Last year I was in Norway living in one of the rainiest cities in Europe. I tried to get by without supplementing, hoping that my supposed fat stores would get me through just a few months. Wrong! I was out of there by this time last year because I was getting so sick and was definitely not happy! I started to have a lot of trouble digesting food and my bones were getting soft. The picture below is actually almost flattering for how sickly looking I felt. Compare the two for yourself and decide which one you think looks healthier... And if you don't have too many options for sunshine this time of year, take the freaking supplements.
