Does any one know any information of eating wild rice and quinoa ? is it good to soak or cook them and eat if you are not able to have fruit??
apparently wild rice is not rice but a seed??

If you eat fruit all day and rice at night and a little fruit after, but stay in the 811 range will you start adding fat because of the way you mix it?
If I wasn't able to have 811rv food, the next thing I would reach for as a short term solution would be store bought fruit juice, and if that wasn't available, potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams. Personally, I don't seem to do well with any grain or pseudo-grain.

I would just add that grains, beans and the like are ALWAYS better soaked before cooking. 2 Benefits to doing this: 1) They cook faster 2) Less phytic acid & enzyme inhibitors (ie more nutritious & better digestion). Of course, don't stress about it. Just do the best you can with what ya got! =)
I know quinoa cooks in like 5 minutes when soaked for 4+ hours. Other grains cook in 1/2 time when soaked for a few hours.

Corn is corn.
Quinoa is quinoa.
Yeah some people will say rice is a fruit, bananas are a grass, walnuts are an herb, corn is a vegetable, tomatoe is a fruit...
What really matters at the end of the day is how a food WORKS FOR YOU.
Try it out and go from there.
Ive done both cooked rice and soaked rice. Cooked rice digested best with brown rice the winner. Still, Ive literally eaten 3500cal of rice in a meal and still wanted something sweet afterwards indicating rice just aint as good as fruit when it comes to satisfaction.
