So this is a continuation to my previous blog post. If you haven't read it yet maybe you should. ;)
So I was blown away when after days of eating as many carb calories as I cared for, raw and not, while sitting on my butt all day, I still managed to lose weight. This Thursday, I went to the gym and I was at 151.0.
Today, Saturday I went to the gym again, and I was at 149.8. Not even two whole days have passed, only one of which I have exercised in, and I lost one pound? Wait, you're kidding right? Actually, I hope you're not kidding. Please don't be kidding.
May I do a happy dance?
In other terms today wasn't a great food day. I had too much fat. First I drank Roasted, Young Coconut juice from Nirvana, and when I looked at the label it said that one 9.5 fl. oz. bottle had 9g of fat. Uh oh. But I figured, hey, this will just be my fat for the day...
Or not. My dad and I went out to a local Korean restaurant, and I ordered a bibimbap. I ordered it specifically because it is the lowest in sodium (unless you add sauce, which I didn't), most ingredients are raw or very lightly cooked (other than the rice) and fat free... or so I thought. I don't know how much was in the plate but the cook put some sesame oil into the dish. Not so much that it was very noticeable, unless you were paying close attention, which I was. If the dish had been small I wouldn't have minded but this dish is roughly... 2/3 of a medium watermelon.
Yeah. And I ate all of it. Oh well. I'll do better tomorrow, I'm not eating out, rather making everything myself.
And then, I don't know why, but I ate two green tea mochis. Great. Processed food.
Baby steps. I know I can do this.
