“ a tiger taken from it’s natural surrounding is no longer a tiger in
the fullest sense of the word. The external, material appearance of the tiger
may be the same, but the inner substance of what should be a noble free
creature with sharp hunting instincts – this inner substance is lost. A “tiger”
grown up in a zoo will not even be able to survive in the wilds. The inner substance of a “zoo-tiger” is not
very different from that of a stuffed tiger in a natural history museum."
There's nothing noble or free about my present existence. I would be kidding myself if i tried to believe that.
