Terra Frutis food forest/fruitarian community

Terra Frutis is a new fruitarian community + food forest in south east Ecuador. It is a mild tropical climate, not too buggy, and almost nothing in the way of malaria/parasites/etc. Bananas, papayas, durian, and other tropical fruits grow here easily.

Recently we began preparing the cabin for people to live in, planting more seeds, harvesting bananas, and clearing overgrowth around the cabin and some of the fruit trees.

If you're interested in checking out Terra Frutis, the website is here: http://www.terrafrutis.com

Mountain stream in the middle of nowhere, and the top of the mountain (i.e. close to where the spring is) is still part of the property, so not much chance of contamination, although natural pathogens+parasites could still be lurking...

I'm on the free T-3 3 month tourist visa right now

My degree should be enough, as it's a bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited institution. Jason met one guy who used a 2-year degree from a not-so-accredited institution and got it successfully. I'll either do the the degree-based residency or maybe teach english (or piano lessons) and get a work visa

Can? Did. Lol. Not a good idea of course - the plan is to drink filtered rainwater once we put a gutter and downspout on the roof.

Looks beautiful.  Keep the updates coming.

Which visa option did you choose?  Is your degree enough for that permanent option?

You can really drink safely out of the stream without any filtering?

Now you can't be vegan 'cause... Mineral levels in plants are depleted. LifeRegenerator lacks sense

LifeRegenerator appears on RawKristina's video and repeats what an anti-vegan told me days before... that mineral levels in plant foods have depleted by 85 percent
