Hi there! I've been lurking on this site and watching videos for a few weeks now and i finally signed up!
i've been transitioning into HCRV for a few weeks and it's definitely making me feel so much better! I feel happier and more in-tuned to nature and it feels wonderful!
I've got a lot of weight to lose and this feels like the best, most natural way to do it. i was 251 when i started and now i'm down to 247.5 in a week.
i'm single, so $$ is a bit of an issue but so far i've been doing ok. I'm using up my veggie burgers for dinner and once those are gone i'll probably transition to a cooked yam or potato, or corn pasta for a little while and then start transitioning into fully raw. i don't know anyone else locally who is into this lifestyle or even anyone who's vegan. i already threw out my cheese and bought vegan cheese :) it's more expensive but i think that's a good thing because it'll help me wean off it completely. actually once i'm done with the burgers i don't think i'll need cheese anymore.
my parents don't know yet. well my mom seems to know, they always do lol. my dad freaked out when i turned vegetarian and they still fed me chicken/turkey/fish when i had dinner with them. so now i'm eating at their house less, and even last time they made fajitas and i avoided the chicken. i told my mom i'm becoming more serious in my diet and she seems to be understanding. i figure i'll get more into the lifestyle and they'll notice the changes and be more accepting when they see the proof.
currently i'm eating a 6 banana smoothie (with some coconut sugar) for breakfast. lunch is at work so i take some apples, oranges, dates, blueberries, kiwis, or sometimes dragonfruit. but i'm pretty sure i'm not eating enough because i'm embarassed at what my co-workers might say. i think i'm going to try making a smoothie in the morning to take to work and then i'll know i'm getting enough calories.
i'm excited to be a part of this community and get some support. i know now that i'm on here i'll be more accountable for what i eat. i'm hoping to make some new friends here!
thanks for reading my opening novel lol.
