30 Bananas a Day!

Yes I know it may sound odd to many, or maybe not I don't know. But I wanted to share my experience. I went vegan in July of this year. I followed Rawtil4 just how Freelee does it. Though I enjoyed it for the most part, my stomach did not, I will spare the details because I have talked about them in my other posts. Nothing seemed to digest very well. So after a lot of consideration and research I figured it was in my best interest to go raw. So things seemed a little more regular, but I still had leaky gut as well as all my other problems. The only thing that was better was the bloating pretty much went away. And don't get me wrong, that was a huge plus, but I was not regular and going to the washroom was hell, especially at school. I thought it would only get better, but it was not. 

So this past weekend, around 3 days ago I began the starch solution. After seeing others succeed on it ever after coming from an 801010 style diet, I thought I had nothing to lose. All I hoped was that things didn't get worse. The McDougall (Starch Solution) plan was actually the first vegan diet I ever found, but never tried it. I don't know why I never tried it before, but at the time it seemed difficult. Of course now after trying the high fruit and greens diet, it now seems super easy :)

I cannot express my joy in words. I am now regular! After going one full day starch solution, I was regular. My body is in harmony :) Not only are my bowel movements easy, but I no longer have the feeling of incomplete "removal". Also I have absolutely no more cravings for fat, or dense foods and NO MORE GAS! HALLELUJAH! I was never really satisfied, even after eating A LOT (trust me I can pack it in) of fruit. So I used to gorge on dates (not good because they are dehydrating in large amounts, AND they gave me horrid smelly gas, the worst gas of my life). I craved fats like no tomorrow, especially avocado. I will still eat dates (had 3 this morning in oatmeal) and avocado when I want :) But I have no food cravings! Its amazing. The only thing I crave now is my clean cooked carbs :) 

I don't know why a high fruit diet didn't work for me. I do have a
European background on both sides of my family, so I come from a long line of starch eaters. I also don't know why I didn't listen to my body before. It craved dense foods, thats what it wants! All my life pasta has been my favourite food, it seems so clear now I feel like a huge dumbass, haha. But hey, I know now right!?

Good to know I am not alone! Thanks so much for commenting, cause today someone also said to me that I am wrong, that fruit is never the problem. I don't think it is fruit that's the problem, there is no problem! Just the way our bodies work right? And yes I think maybe our history could have something to do with it for sure!

tried high fruit too got horrible stomach and upper body pain and craved starches like crazy i think this family history thing is to consider as well my ancestors (south america)  basically lived of nothing than potatoes rice and greens some fruit here and there and lil bit dairy like once a month so almost a vegan diet so maybe my body is more efficient in digesting starch than fruit

Thats good you feel better now!

I haven't been eating much fruit, but I miss it. So I think I'm going to eat more fruit, for breakfast and maybe lunch. See how I feel. I think I was eating too much before and eating when I was not hungry, which probably cause my IBS flareups.

I very well know what that feeling of "incomplete removal" is...Thank-you !!! Not sure if I want to go cooked again for sometime at least...This feeling of clear bowel movements is nothing like anything..

I had to go on all fruit again to overcome constipation even with cooked greens when on Starch solution...So relieved to be back on raw diet...
