Anyone who knows me well, knows that I have suffered enormously from what we beleive to be a parasympathetic nervous system disorder known as "Reynaud's" disease, by which one's fingers and toes can go completely numb very easily in the cold. My body used to define "cold" as *anything below 70f*!
Today, I walked around all day without hat, gloves etc... and even went for short jog this evening at 30 degrees F ( 0 degrees C) and not an ioda of feeling cold nor reynauds.
I am only 10 days or so into being an 811lfrv, and already I am noticing several incredible changes... some are very subtle but some are delightfully awesome. Better workouts at the gym... more body heat ( which is a good thing in the Boston area ) ...and I notice that I often want to run somewhere instead of walking;>
Best of all, is having more good energy for family, friends & clients.
At 53, I am feeling better than I did at 18!
I am grateful for this blog spot.
Pura Vida !
