I've decided that the whole transitioning thing doesn't work very well. When I do eat any fat or extra salt and anything cooked- even low fat- my body seems to inflate like a blimp. I'm a little depressed about it because I want so badly to not fail at this and it seems that my disordered eating habits (binging/purging then heavily restricting) are amplified by this life style.
So I've decided that the most important lesson is that : I will not give up. I'm committing to a lifestyle so although I may hate my body... I'm a yoga instructor. My energy is vital and so is my health.
For the next week (my birthday is in a week and my present to myself will be a 7day raw vegan land mark...) I promise to:
-write down everything I eat so I make sure that I'm getting sufficient calories
-mono meal at least once a day
-under NO circumstance will I restrict calories. the aim is to heal, not to slide backwards.
-drink TONS of water
-and journal journal journal as well as doing my daily meditation and yoga practice.
Wish me luck.
