30 Bananas a Day!

Today I felt unusually happy, energetic and productive, so I thought I might write an entry to reflect upon.

Diet

I'm still moving very slowly from a mostly vegan diet to the 80-10-10 rv. I do eat non-vegan and non-vegetarian very rarely, for that matter, though they're only for special occasions (ie. christmas, birthday). This is because non-vegetarian is still early days for me (been less than a year since I've been trying vegan/vegetarian). There are are sometimes weeks or even months that go by where I am completely vegan...

These days, I'm aiming to eat a mono-meal fruit breakfast and lunch, and a low-fat cooked vegan dinner.

Today I ate...

Good part
- 1 kg of grapes for breakfast,
- 16 medjool dates for lunch as Dateorade (Thanks Freelea!)
- 5 Banana's as snack
+13 glasses water (3.25 Litres)
Loose part
- 2 soy sausages in bread with mixed greens, sauce and butter
Poor part
- Fried rice
- Rowl with butter
- Potato
- Ice cream

Around 4200 calories.

Final macros: 75%C, 17%F, 8%P.
Macros after 'good and loose parts': 85%C, 7%F, 7%P.

The reason for the loose part was because I had to rush down some food before Dad's in case his dinner was  rich in non-vegetarian or non-80-10-10 items. 
The reason for the poor part was I gave into temptation to eat and share their foods because it was my brother's birthday!

On a side note: My friend told me that both grapes and dates are natural laxatives. I went to the toilet (#2) around 6-7 short sessions today. I've noticed on two occasions now that grapes cause my bowls to become overly loose.

So I realize that in order to experience the full potential of the 80-10-10 lifestyle, I need to cut down on my cooked foods, non-vegan items, and increase the number of fruits and greens I eat. 

Lifestyle

I've been more productive and motivated since shifting my diet. 

My mental TO-DO list has now become a physical TO-DO on paper. I've been working through the list slowly but steadily - paying bills, cleaning room, processing papers, responding to birthday remarks, etc.

I've also started living the lifestyle changes of the 80-10-10rv way. For example, I now sun-bake (often nudie!) most days, I'm looking into starting up Yoga and meditation, and I'm thinking of starting up cycling (Thanks Durian!). And a gratitude diary or a goals list!

Were the butter and ice cream vegan alternatives?

I shall also add that I was hungry at the end of the day, after 4200 calories and volumes of food, even though I usually eat 2400 and feel satisfied!
Maybe my body is waking up and this expression of energy demands more fuel.
