30 Bananas a Day!

Day 22 – Had a good sleep after getting to bed late.  Paola left this morning which was sad.  Luckily I still have James to keep me sane!  Walked up and over steep hills for an hour and then back with James.  My left ear kept blocking for the whole walk.  We were up at quite a high altitude by the time we got to the top so maybe that had something to do with it.  My ears are also still ringing which they have been doing for the last 2 weeks.  Exhausted after walk so went straight to bed after dinner.  Excellent food today with all meals being 10’s!

Day 23 -  Slept great!  Walked to Sora and back with James which wasn’t that far compared to the previous day.  Was enough though.  Really sore leg muscles from the day before.

Day 24 – Slept well again.  Walked in the morning for 45 minutes.  Started a workout routine with James which is a two part routine with half on Mondays and the other on Thursdays.  I hope to keep it up long term. 

Day 25 – Sleeping well at the bookends of the night again.  Sore muscles after workout yesterday.  Had a great massage this afternoon.  Bart joined us in re-feeding which is a great addition to our social meal times.

Day 26 – Same sleep again.  Relaxed and slept a lot today.  All I really did was eat and then sleep to the next meal 4 times in a row!  Very sore muscles so took it very easy.  Eating lots of bananas and romaine for lunch at the moment which is very filling and enjoyable.

Day 27 – Slept well.  Workout today was good but I’m a bit lacking in energy today.  Amazing pineapple, tomato, and lettuce dinner.  Noticed that my face has filled out a lot,  Still not back to normal though but looks a lot better.

Day 28 – Found it hard to get to sleep but eventually slept well without the awake period in the middle of the night.  Sore muscles again but different ones this time.  Massage helped a lot.  Had a mono meal of 3 mameys.  Was so good!  The last meal of re-feeding I decided on pineapple, lettuce, tomato, and I managed to get an avocado!  Was a letdown though as the pineapple and the lettuce were not great.  I didn’t really enjoy the avo either so may just avoid them for a while.  So that’s it for re-feeding!

Hi Ednshell, I think it may have been related to my prostate being swollen (I had pain in the past but never had it checked out) and pushing against my bladder.  But then again I've had it my whole life so not sure if you can have a swollen prostate as a child.  Who knows?  All I care is that it appears to be fixed now! :)

Thank you Stephen! This is probably the best news for me!! The peeingness I must say have left me kind of enervated quite alot in my past bouts. It makes me even more restless than my usual restless self.

 

I know I have so many things which can only be truly corrected for me personally via fasting.

I'll let you know if I find one.

There's one major improvement I forgot to mention.  I've always gone to the toilet a ridiculous amount of times during the day and night.  Since the fast I can go for hours without needing to go and when I do go there is a lot more volume.  This has made such a difference to my current situation as I travel on buses quite a lot over long distances and was always needing to go to the toilet between toilet stops (not all buses have toilets).  No longer an issue which is such a relief!

Unfortunately I have not come across one of those scales in my travels yet.  I'm very curious to know this info also.  I might go to a gym and see if they have one.

it's very understandable it will take time. I am looking to do one myself eventually (although perhaps not to the same extent in time).

 

Have you had the opportunity to weight yourself on one of these scales that shows bodyfat vs. musclemass etc?

Hi Janne,

I'm still yet to regain all my strength but there has been a constant improvement over the months but I still have a way to go.  I've put on more weight than before the fast which I'm happy about.  I could never put weight on in the past so hopefully that indicates that my absorption has improved.  My body also reacts more strongly to toxins which I interpret as a higher level of vitality.  All is good so far but as it was a long fast I still have a long path to full recovery.

Hey Victor!

Apart from the lack of strength and energy I feel amazing!  Mentally and emotionally I’m better than ever.  I haven’t started reading yet apart from emails as I want to rest my eyes as much as possible to try and restore my reading vision.  I meditate most nights and decided to fast mainly due to curiosity.  I highly recommend it to everyone!
