30 Bananas a Day!

Raw for 7 months - Day "Eleven" - Not really seeing any effects of this "diet" yet...

I have all ideas that I just haven't given it enough time...but am I maybe doing something wrong? I really haven't seen anything happening from eating this way..maybe it just needs more time.

Breakfast- (2 bananas , 3 extrasmall red apples)

Lunch - 2 bananas, Half of a Green smoothie ( 1.2 pounds frozen fruit(thats what the scale said anyways..., 1-2 handfuls greens, 1 cup water in the whole batch)

Mid Afternoon- 3 bananas

brown rice (100cal)

5 ish -Green smoothie (the other half)

Extrasmall red apple

Dinner - Leftovers fruit salad(2 extra small golden apples,half a box of strawberrys(half a pound), 2 small bananas)

I am out of produce..but tomorow morning..I am going to go ask kroger if they will sell me bananas by the case.

clarity,energy,peace,simplicity,honesty(..absence of all the "numbing" foods and pills and such) ect ect

Yeah I figured it would, but I don't seem to be that tired really..no real detox symtoms that I can pin point. :)

what effects are you trying to achieve? do you know that detoxing from a cooked food diet will require lots of energy from your healing body? read more and get more info and you will see if this path is for you. I can honestly say, I have done the research for years and see that humans thrive on low fat raw vegan diets. We were meant to eat the produce that Nature has given us. Anything processed can't be as good or optimal. This lifestyle takes some time and a lot of experimenting of what fruits and veggies you do well with or prefer. Good luck! Give it a chance. I have been for almost 3 years now and I always come back to this truth.

"The 80/10/10 Diet" book is in the mail..should be two or three days before I get it :)
Grapes are really expensive this week so I buy apples and bananas because they are cheap :)
My energy is just kind of..neutral..not worn out but not feeling great either....I know I haven't been eating enough, yesterday it was because I ran out of produce..but Im on the way to the grocery store this morning :)

I second what RFG says, and add that a) bananas dont digest so well with apples and b) apples dont have very many calories (yet feel filling cause of all that fiber) why not try grapes or mangos, which give you a higher caloric punch for your eating? OJ and dates are also a great way to up the calories.

hello there.to be really find our what eating 100% raw low fat is like,you need to be doing it 100% of the time. you aren't actually eating very many calories,how's your energy?

Its a good indicator that you aren't eating enough fruit when you turned to the cooked brown rice.
