Monday, D and I took a "total body conditioning" class at the gym down the street. Working out in general is fairly new to me, and usually I stick with the elliptical and some light weights, or yoga.Now..this instructor had us doing squats,lunges, pushups, and all sorts of things. I used muscles I didn't even know I had!
This was a really great work out and I'm glad we did it, but...I am in so much pain!! Now, three days later, it feels as if my legs have been run over by a truck.
I wonder if there is anything I can do next time to prevent this pain? I'm sure that if I keep taking this class it will stop hurting so much eventually, but it's awful right now!
