Well, I was hoping to make it more that 3/4 of a day but unfortunately that didn't happen... :( I was prepared with my bananas but I think the one day water fast wasn't what I needed at the time. I have done that in the past and it has really helped me to get started, but when I came home starving and dizzy and my husband made some mushroom quesadillas, I gave in and had some. Then it was back to my old cooked self.
I'm trying to stay positive and not dwell on what happened even though sometimes that can be difficult. I was going to wait until after the weekend again to start but after the awful heavy dinner out I had last night, my body is saying that the time is now. So I made a few bananas smoothies for work and am just going to take it one bite of fruit at a time.
