This will be a short one, but hopefully it will inspire.
A month ago, I bought cleats for my bicycle shoes. I have Look 247 pedals and they use Look Delta cleats. I went to a store local to my job. They handed me Vangàrd cleats. They are copies of Look's own Delta-cleats. Although they are roughly $5 cheaper than Look's cleats, they are utter crap:
On the picture, you see the bottom of the cleats. This is after 12 rides within a month. In other words: not a whole lot.
Thus my argument against copy-products. Especially in regards to functionality and safety, copy products are not worth the money or risk. If you look at the cleat to the right, you'll notice that the tip has snapped clean off. This happened during my 103 K ride recently. A tiny bit of the tip remained, and I was able to ride home all the way, but I had to order new cleats immediately.
What does this have to do with 30BaD? Well. I had just about 30 bananas the day of the 103K ride hahaha.
