Today is day 2 and I wanted to start a blog here to document my trip and help to keep me on track!
Reasons for the trip:
1) I feel like my digestion needs a break from too many fruit veggie combinations.
2) Also, I would like to stay away from overt fats for a couple of weeks. I feel like I've been having too much lately.
I read all of Freelee's information on banana island so I plan to stay here for two weeks. The first 10 days only bananas, and then adding in some celery and lettuce.
I think my biggest challenges will be getting enough ripe bananas. I bought a case last weekend and yesterday enjoyed really ripe and delicious ones. Today will be the same but I'm not sure what will happen tomorrow! I ordered another case and will pick it up this afternoon.
Also, I start work on Monday, which always makes me anxious and is a bit stressful, so I'm a little nervous about staying on banana island then
Day 1 food intake:
I had three smoothies with 5 bananas each and banana ice cream made with 4 frozen bananas for a total of 19. I would like to stay away from the frozen bananas during this time if I can though.
At times I have felt a little lightheaded and tired but so far, I have a lot of energy, and am getting A LOT of work done since I don't have to think about what to eat! I think I need to drink more water though. That could be why I'm a little tired.
Today so far:
8:00 smoothie with 5 bananas
11:00 another smoothie with 5 banans
1:30 2 more bananas
