So lately it seems like it's been this weird struggle to actually have all the fruit we need to eat all the time in my house (my sister and I are both 8/10/10) and we have been fully raw for a few months now. We really have been stubborn about wanting to eat organic, but lately it seems like its more a waste of money than anything. We realized we could get really good fruit from wholesalers in Pittsburgh's Strip District so we're gonna start getting mangoes and tropical fruits from there. which I'm actually very excited for. I don't know why but the organic yellow mangoes have been wrinkly and fermented, and the regular ones have been great, so that will be nice. also we are probably gonna start eating some potatoes from time to time so we can have more carbs, because this winter we stuck with being raw but often ate a little too much fats like avocados just to not be hungry, which wasn't really the best thing for my body. we weren't really eating that much calories either.
also i think that eating more carbs like potatoes could give me a LOT more energy with which to ride my bike and do other vigorous, fun activities.
Also just got The 80/10/10 Diet from the bookstore yesterday and started reading it! So happy !
I feel like I'm starting a new chapter in my life right now, and realizing that being fully raw is not necessarily the best thing for me right now. I know that when my sis and I move to mexico, hawaii, wherever- to the tropics, we will be eating all the delicious ripe fruit to our heart's desire, and right now we live in the North east with our family so it would be better if our vibrations were more aligned..I think it's gonna be a really good thing actually :)
