I am so ready to hit the sack right now! But I wanted to stop and jot down a few ideas.
I have decided to start nana island tommorow. I am looking forward to it. It will actually be banana smoothie island (with some greens too). I want to try and do this for a week (really longer, but I have to start small). The reason I want to do BI is because I have not been feeling well. Last week I had a case of nausea/diarrhea for several days. THIS week my throat is sore and it feels like my little throat glands are a little swollen. I have an acne rash on my face and chest too. LOL. I'm not completely falling apart --- but I am not as healthy as I want to be at the moment. I recently have experienced a little relationship stress too, which I have posted about on the site. I am not sure if I am experiencing detox or the effects from not sticking to the diet 100% (ie: coffee breaks here and there, cooked vegan foods, sometimes too much fat, etc.) Either way it needs to stop!
The purpose of this banana island is to give myself a chance to heal physically/mentally/emotionally. I will be consuming the full 30 bananas a day. Three smoothies - with ten bananas each at the same times everyday. I will be drinking 3 liters of water a day. I will be going to bed no later than 10! (I better hurry up and get to bed now!) I am also going to continue yoga most days and cardio. I am hoping to resume eating a raw diet, but kick it up to 100% and stay that way in the end. I don't feel great otherwise. Bananas are such a cheap source of nutrients! Buying boxes of bananas and organic greens is super cheap. SO I am hoping to get used to it...if that dude could juice fast for sixty days --- I better be able to just eat bananas for 7 days (or longer -hehehe). Anyways - advice or words of encouragement always appreciated! Peace and Love!!!
