I'm very excited to be easing into this lifestyle. Although my goal is to be 100% raw over time, for now I'm gonna be doing the "Raw till 4" plan Freelee has designed. I was in this forum and lifestyle last year, but after gaining weight and attributing it to eating too much(then gaining even more over the holidays, etc.,), I'm finally ready to give it a try and just focus on being healthy. That being said, I've been transitioning into the "Raw till 4" diet for the past week. The detox symptoms have been unbearable most days, and since I've been working and going to school, I gave in a lot to the unhealthy stuff in order to just get through what I was working on.
However, starting today, RIGHT NOW, I'm gonna be eating exactly the RT4 way and simply disregard the detox symptoms and just nap instead of putting more junk in my body(which just makes matters worse). I understand that as a way of recovering from food addiction it requires a great deal of abstinence, which is hand-in-hand with self-respect. I'm thrilled to begin this lifestyle change for myself, and I feel that I am ready for this 100%! It's time to stop putting off my beginning to optimal health and grasp this lifestyle while I'm young and have the chance :) Besides, I just ordered a 11 pound box of organic dates so I'm officially in contract :-)
